we had a lovely experience with warm hospitality from the host and delicious breakfast options, making it easy for us to stroll to the nearby Gettysburg National Military Park, just a 2 km walk away, as well as enjoying the serene views at Evergreen Cemetery, which is also just a little under 2 km from the inn.

I just returned from a two-night stay and can't express how fantastic my experience was. The breakfasts were homemade and included the tastiest pancakes and fresh fruit that fueled my days exploring the historic Gettysburg sites. The hosts provided thoughtful recommendations and made me feel right at home, adding an intimate touch that larger hotels often lack. I did notice that some areas outside could use a little refreshing, but that didn't take away from my overall enjoyment.

Well, this place had it all, really, I mean the building is beautiful and charming, and our room was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast? Unbelievably good. they served up a mean homemade feast that fuelled us for a day of exploration.

While the breakfast had its merits, such as tasty pastries made from scratch, options felt limited, and my particular dietary request wasn’t as catered for as I’d hoped. My room faced the street, leading to occasional noise disturbances from local events. it was more than a minor inconvenience. The price tag felt a bit steep compared to what I received. even though the stay was enjoyable, some modern touches or amenities could enhance the experience further.

This place suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, air conditioning, and a picnic area. During my first stay, the staff recommended wonderful restaurants, which I still remember. I highly recommend staying here!
